Is my data private and encrypted?

Yes. Privacy is a core value. Habitflow supports optional end-to-end encryption (E2EE) where data is encrypted on the device with a key only the user holds. Even if encryption is not enabled, data is never used, sold, or shared in any way. Tracking history remains private to the user.

What if I forget my encryption passphrase?

If E2EE is enabled, the passphrase is the only way to access data. It is not stored on any server and cannot be recovered. If lost, encrypted data must be reset to start fresh. This is why encryption remains optional.

Can I track quantities or durations?

We are carefully evaluating how to add quantity and duration tracking without losing the simplicity that makes Habitflow effective. Our priority is to avoid the friction of "micro-logging" and preserve the visual rhythm of the app, so we are exploring designs that keep these features optional and clean.
